Water Lines

  • An average European uses between 150 and 400 litres of water every day for their personal requirements.
  • Consunption in the US is almost twice as high, at 580 litres/day per person.
  • In China, the figure is only 90 litres per day on average.
  • In many developing countries individual consumption is well below the limit of 50 litres per day specified as the critical threshold by the Food and Agriculture Organisation.
